Mendips Raceway is pleased to announce that two new sponsors have joined us for 2012.
The first is Polleysport, who are the UK distributors for Yokohama tyres, which are used on Brisca f2 stock cars, and for the last two years, on the Mendips Raceway Special Rods.
The racing in the Special Rods has been improved by the use of the Yokohama A 021 R tyre, which is very good value at just under £50, plus budget drivers can buy used tyres from Brisca f2 drivers for under £50 per set.
Polleysport are supporting the Special Rod West of England Championship in October, by presenting the winner with four new tyres.
The second is JB Racing Engines from Radstock. JB will be supporting the West of England for the Special Rods, and also for the Junior Rods. Proprietor Jamie Bryant is a former Mini Rod driver, and his father Paul Bryant was a regular in the Hot Rods for many years.
Jamie supplies racing engines and engineering services for an enormous variety of competition cars, and always remembers the excitement of winning his first trophy in the MiniRod class, so wished to give some really nice trophies to the new generation of drivers in the Junior class by supporting the West of England Championship.
