Hans Kirimaa was a man with a dream, and ten years ago he announced a new formula.
He builds them, rents them out, services them and promotes them, and recently completed his 100th chassis.
Rebels are spaceframe chassis topped with a glassfibre 1950’s style bodyshell, and powered by a tuned Reliant engine.
The cars are a contact class, and strictly controlled by the factory.
They visit us at Mendips Racway once a year, and are brilliant to watch-like a swarm of bees buzzing round, as one spectator once said.
